1976, Tjädervägen 10, Bromma. Charles was in Malmoe at Repslagaregatan 11, home of jornalist Ole Carlson talking about art when he received news by telephone from Stockholm that his application was accepted to start studying art at the Royal Academy of Fine arts, in Stockholm.Sven who was one of the high officials of PK Banken at that time and Stina Lisa Öhlund who was teaching and at times researching at Stockholm University, welcomed me to stay in their home during the beginning of my studies at the Royal Academy Fine Arts in Bromma at Tjädervägen 10. It was in this house that Charles painted "Memories From The Attic 1976" among other paintings.To thank them for this extra ordinary kindness and hospitality, Charles gave them some of the paintings that were dearest to my heart.
